CASEMENT WINDOWS
The casement window has sashes that open inward or outward on a fixed outer frame.
These can be side hung or top hung and in certain cases fixed. These windows work well in high rainfall areas. They also provide better insulation to dust and sound. Casement windows stand up to high wind velocity even in high rise buildings. Casement profiles are also used to create fixed windows where the frame and glass is permanently fixed in an opening. These are well suited for openings that need to be sealed off from bugs and dust. They are recommended for openings that cannot be easily operated due to access constraints.
